What is Term Life? A Term Life plan is life insurance under which the benefit is payable only if the insured dies during a specified period. |
No benefit is payable if the insured survives to the end of that period.
Term Life is an excellent option for the person who requires extra coverage during a specific period of their life (i.e. while children are still at home).
While Term Life is a good value, it lacks three very important features which are available in Whole Life plans. Term Life plans do not build Cash Value, do not pay dividends, and Term Life premiums increase each year.
- Excellent value
- Available to issue ages 18-65
- Guaranteed annually renewable through age 75
- Guaranteed premiums each year
- Convertable to any WSA Whole Life plan through age 65
- Available with Waiver of Premium and Accidental Death supplemental benefits
- Provides eligibility for Newborn Benefit* and Orphan Benefit*
- Monthly payment plan at no additional cost
- Integri-Check electronic funds transfer payment option
